I had a pleasant stay at the Hilton Santa Fe Historic Plaza, benefiting from its fantastic location near downtown attractions. The rooms were comfortable, but I encountered some issues with the thermostat and the elevators not working in my section of the building. Overall, the historic ambiance and friendly staff made it a worthwhile experience despite a couple of hiccups.

Rooms
8.0
My room was spacious, well-appointed, and quite comfortable, especially the bed. However, I struggled with the thermostat as I couldn't get it to warm up during the unexpectedly cold weather.
Service
8.0
The staff was warm and genuinely helpful, going above and beyond during my early check-in request. There were some check-in confusion, but they handled it quickly once I arrived in the afternoon.
Location
10.0
The hotel's location is excellent, just a short walk from the historic plaza, making it easy for me to explore numerous galleries and dining spots.
Dining
6.0
While I had room service for dessert, I found the restaurant's menu quite limited, so I opted not to dine there for a meal. The options were just not appealing enough.
Facilities
7.0
The overall facilities looked well-maintained, but I noticed the elevators were inconsistent, leading to a lot of walking around. I also would have preferred regular glasses in the room instead of plastic cups for a more eco-conscious approach.

7.2/10

I had a mixed experience at the Hilton Santa Fe Historic Plaza. While the location was fantastic for exploring downtown and the staff were friendly and helpful, I encountered issues with the room selection and some housekeeping inconsistencies. Overall, it was a decent stay, but it didn't entirely live up to the 4.5-star expectations.

Rooms
6.0
My room was spacious and had a nice view of the courtyard, but there were some issues like noise from the surrounding area. I appreciated the cleanliness and the electrical outlets available for charging devices.
Service
7.0
The staff were really nice and went out of their way to help with my booking issues. They provided good advice on dining options, but the check-in was chaotic and could’ve been smoother.
Location
9.0
The hotel's location was definitely a highlight. Just a short walk to the Plaza and other attractions made it convenient to explore Santa Fe.
Dining
5.0
Breakfast options were okay, but I regretted pre-purchasing. There were definitely better options to be found in the area.
Facilities
5.0
While the pool area looked nice, it was uncovered and empty. The overall facilities felt a bit lacking for a hotel of this stature.

6.8/10

My stay at Hilton Santa Fe Historic Plaza was a mixed bag. The location was fantastic, just a short walk from many shops and historical sites. However, my room felt outdated and somewhat uncomfortable, which was disappointing. The staff were friendly and helpful, but the dining experience left a lot to be desired, particularly regarding allergy safety protocols.

Rooms
6.0
The room was spacious but quite outdated and dark, making it feel uninviting. I also encountered issues with accessibility features that didn’t suit my needs well, like hangers positioned too low. It wasn’t the most comfortable place to spend time in, to say the least.
Service
7.0
I found the staff to be friendly and willing to help, but my experience was inconsistent. While some team members went out of their way to assist, there were moments, especially at breakfast, where service felt rushed and not attentive. Additionally, I had issues checking out related to my booking, which was frustrating.
Location
10.0
The hotel's location was a major plus, allowing easy access to the vibrant historic downtown and nearby attractions. I appreciated that even though it was close to busy streets, it felt relatively quiet, particularly at night—a nice bonus when you've spent the day exploring.
Dining
5.0
Dining here was a letdown, particularly given my severe seafood allergy, which they didn’t manage well despite earlier communications. The breakfast options were limited and monotonous throughout my stay, making it less enjoyable. The quality varied, with some meals being decent but lacking variety.
Facilities
6.0
The hotel had decent amenities like a pool area, but the overall feel of the facilities was aged. While cleanliness was maintained, the decor felt tired, impacting the overall experience. I expected more modern perks for a Hilton hotel.

I had a good experience at Hilton Santa Fe Historic Plaza! The location is fantastic, allowing easy access to downtown and various attractions. The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to ensure that I had everything I needed. However, the $22 parking fee felt a bit steep, and breakfast is an added expense, which could be a downside for some guests. Overall, I would definitely return! 😊

The buffet breakfast was really good, boasting a wide variety of hot and cold items including an omelet station!

7.0/10

My stay at the Hilton Santa Fe Historic Plaza was a mixed bag. The location was a standout, ideally situated for exploring the vibrant downtown, rich in history and art. However, I faced significant issues, like a serious lack of hot water, which made my stay incredibly uncomfortable. The staff was friendly, with some members like John at the front desk going above and beyond to rectify problems, but other aspects, like room placement, left much to be desired.

Rooms
5.0
The room I stayed in was clean but not the most comfortable. I experienced inadequate heating, especially with the snow outside.
Service
6.0
While some staff members, like John, were amazing and helped make things right, others were not as proactive in addressing issues. There were reports of minimal responses to complaints, which dampened the overall experience.
Location
9.0
The hotel's location is truly fantastic—just a short walk to the Plaza and many great dining options. It's perfect for exploring all that Santa Fe has to offer.
Dining
7.0
Dining options were solid, but I found the breakfast variety to be decent rather than really good.
Facilities
6.0
Facilities were generally well maintained, with clean areas to relax. However, the issues with heating overshadowed the overall quality of the amenities.
